Biographical Facts Enid Mary Blyton was born on the 11 th of August 1897. She was born at 354 Lordship Lane (a flat above a shop) in East Dulwich, South London. Enid’s father was called Tomas Carey Blyton and her mother Theresa Mary Harrison Blyton. She was the eldest of three children; her two younger brothers were called Hanly (born in 1899) and Carey (1902).
