Throughout the centuries, man has been concerned about several different things. Whether it was hunting for food or finding shelter to survive 2,000 years ago, whether it is keeping up with the certain standards that we have to live our lives by today or the increasing competition we have to face in every walk of life; it is hard not to get anxious or stressed out about the things going on around and with us. In a time where anyone, regardless of age, gender, social class, or anything else, is prone to stress, it is essential to find ways to overcome it and keep it at bay so that it does not consume our lives.
Different ways and methods can be used to help relieve stress as no one person is like the other, and different things work for different people. Exercise, deep breathing, journaling, yoga, and resting are some ways to relieve stress, but meditation, no doubt, comes at the top of the list.
Once only a spiritual practice used to reach a higher state of being, meditation is now becoming increasingly popular as a stress killer. Not only does it help deal with stress, but it also has a calming effect on those suffering from different illnesses and diseases. I have personally witnessed the power of meditation and how it helped me overcome all the anxiety and stresses in my life. This book aims to share all there is to know about meditation for all those who might be suffering like I once was.
