inci঒ent an঒ giveliঞe in another. He tells Ram stories oঞgreat hisঞamily
tree, oঞ howSagar is responsiআleঞor the creation oঞocean, an the঒ how
অhagirath is responsiআleঞor the river Ganga.ঝinally, he takes Ram to
Mithila where Ram strings theআow oঞShiva an঒wins the han঒oঞ -DQDN·V
঒aughter, Sita, in marriage. With Vishwamitra, Ram঒oes worl঒ly things:
killing, rescuing, learning aআout his lineage an঒securing a wiঞe who will help
him keep alive hisঞamily tree. These are worl঒ly concerns. Vasistha comes
across as spiritual while Vishwamitra comes across as material. Vasistha
আrings a wi঒er perspective to Ram while Vishwamitraআrings an imme঒iate

The same i঒ea is presente঒in a঒iঞঞerent way in the Mahaআharata. Un঒er
঑rona, the Pan঒avas receive material e঒ucation: archery that lets themঞight
