Who knows what an “element” is?
For those who just encountered the word “element” and didn’t fully understand the meaning of it.

An element is a substance that can’t be broken down by chemical methods into simpler substances. It is already the simplest substance. There are 118 elements in the periodic table.

Examples of elements are iron, oxygen, hydrogen, lead, neon, chlorine, and many others. All elements are identified by the number of protons they have.

It is a fact that elements can’t be changed by chemical reactions but through nuclear reactions, a new element may be formed.
