On top of Mount Olympus in Greece, in Greek mythology, there were twelve gods and goddesses who ruled the universe. These gods were called the Olympians.

Following Zeus, who was the leader, the Olympians defeated Kronos, the leader of the Titans who was Zeus’ father, and the Olympians came to power. All the Olympians are members of the same family.

These Greek gods and goddesses were also adopted by the Romans, but with different names. Here is a list of the Olympians with their Greek name and their corresponding Roman name.
