Preface

Since the original appearance ofClarityan introduction as to the talks, there have been numerous requests for further wrien material. As the talks are the arena for this par-ticular expression, it seems îing thatAlready Awake shouldappear in the form of distillations from transcripts of recordeddialogues with groups and individuals. Although clarity remains the same – there is never ‘more’ clarity – there is a natural evolution in its expression, and so it feels appropriate that a revised version ofClarity should intro-duce the main part of this book. It is the delight of the play that Consciousness appears as everything and is only ever pointing to and delighting initself.
