Foreword
I have been a resident of Reading all my life and a life-long supporter of Reading Football Club. I can remember the good old days at Elm Park, a stone’s throw from where I used to live, where I watched my first match in 1946 when the club was in the Third Division South. I remember watching all the great players down the years with the likes of Ronnie Blackman and Trevor Senior.
With the club in a healthy financial situation Reading are certainly a team to be feared by all and the club are once again on the up!
I hope you enjoy this book, with its excellent set of well thought out questions to test the ardent Reading fan, as much as I did.
Best wishes
Roger Winslet
