A SYNOPSIS & TABLE OF CONTENTS...
Sarah knows that if she wants to save Nathan, then she’s going to have to do it soon. Sirens from the city let her know that the chips are out, but will that be enough to break into the city and get the man she loves back?
The last thing Nathan was expecting was a rescue. He’d be happy about it too; if it wasn’t for the fact that Belle is going to get punished in his place. Will he be able to convince Natasha and Sarah to turn back and help her or will her life be on his conscious forever?

CHAPTER 1
Sarah
I could hear the echo of sirens coming from the city. I looked over Natasha and she was grinning. “I think it’s safe to say that our plan has worked.”
She was right. The sirens were more than we could have hoped for. I’d been so focused on just getting to this point, that I’d put no thought into how the city might react. “What do we do now?” I asked her, even though it was me who had initially laid out the plan.
“We head to the city and we get Nathan back,” she turned to the woman who had given her the batteries, which we had needed. “Thank you for everything you have done. We couldn’t have ever have hoped to succeed without the batteries you provided.”
The woman smiled at Natasha. “It was my pleasure to help you. You don’t need to worry. I will keep my word about telling the others what has happened. We have some horses in the stables. I’ll get the best riders to ride out to the other villages and spread the word.”
“Thank you,” I said, because I felt it was my turn. She nodded at me. “We should go,” I added, as I turned back to Natasha.
“Go to the stables and take a horse. The city is many hours away by foot, but you’ll get there before sunrise if you ride.”
“Are you sure?” Natasha asked the woman, because after everything she had done and was going to do, it seemed wrong to take more from her.
