About the Author
Thomas Zoblisien, Jr. was born on September 12, 1965, in Youngstown, Ohio. He was enlisted in New Castle, PA, September of 1982 at age 17. He first joined the US Marines as a radio operator. He served a tour in Okinawa and Korea before being stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, and serving on a Med float. He then joined the US Army as a combat engineer in 1987, where he served with 237th Engineer Battalion, Heilbronn, Germany. After returning to the States, he was stationed with 326 Engineers as part of 101st Airborne Division, where he was deployed to Iraq during Desert Storm. His last duty station was with 1st Cavalry at Ft. Hood, TX. A few of his many decorations and achievements include the Air Assault Badge, Repel Master, Navy Commendation Medal, and multiple Army Commendations.
