Once upon a time, there lived in Egypt a king who lost his sight due to a bad illness. He was very sad, and his griefs increased as months passed. All best doctors in his country were unable to cure him. The poor man grew so thin from misery that everyone thought he was going to die. The prince, his only son, was in great sadness.
A traveler arrived in a boat down the river Nile, and after questioning the people about the reason of their sad looks, declared that he was court physician to the king of a far country, and would, if allowed, examine the eyes of the blind king. He promised to do his best to cure him.
He was at once admitted into the royal presence, and after a few minutes of careful examination, the physician announced that
