All Koala wanted was an afternoon nap in the midday sun in his favourite gum tree. But Mozzie had other ideas and decided to wake him up. Being the pestering kind of mozzie he was, he flew down and bit poor Koala on his big shiny nose. Poor Koala got such a fright he fell out the tree, but his bush friends soon came to help and shoo Mozzie away. But Mozzie did not leave. About the Author
Born on the Isle of Wight, England, Angela Castell immigrated as a teenager with her parents to South Australia. She spent her working life as a teacher, librarian, and a music and drama teacher. As a teacher of young children, storytelling has always been an integral part of her life. Retirement brought with it the time to fulfil her life’s dream of writing and following the publication of her first picture book, Mozzie . Angela is now writing her days away in retirement bliss in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, where she lives with her beloved husband.
