What makes a great leader?  There are many leaders in the world. Every nation has a leader. So does every city, sports team and school. But what makes a great leader?  The greatest leaders in history had many impressive qualities. They have had strong goals and motivation. Some, like Napoleon Bonaparte, wanted to make their countries powerful. Some, such as Queen Elizabeth I and Franklin D Roosevelt, wanted to defeat an unsafe enemy. Some, such as Nelson Mandela, wanted to fight for freedom. Famous leaders have changed the course of history around the world.
