ONE STEP AHEAD
Law enforcement agenciessuch as police forces must be ready to respond quickly to the threat of crime. There are many ways in which science and technology can help them do this.
A person can beidentified(found out) from a drop of blood or a single hair. Remote-controlled aircraft watch from above, and clever computer programs might even pinpoint crimes before they are committed.
The police can keep an eye on events and spot trouble quickly from command centres like this one.
