These poems have been written from the words that tumble around in my head. They are a collection of years of work previously unpublished. They are how I view the world and try to make sense of life and death. It is my way of trying to thank war heroes by including a few poems for them in my work. I try to show my gratitude to them in the words I have written. They are written with my love of nature and the freedom I feel when I observe the beauty the sea or the surrounding area I walk in has to offer. They are written after taking time out to relax and just enjoy being outdoors with my dogs and the wildlife I see. I try to convey empathy and compassion for others' suffering. The words try to paint an image or picture in the reader's mind. It is having the ability to read words that make you feel like laughing or crying.
