Peter the Purple Dragon
The air was still in the Land of the Dragons.
The silence was only occasionally broken when a thunderous voice belonging to one of the dragons echoed out in the sky.
And then, there was calm again. For creatures that were thought to be so scary, the dragons certainly liked their peace and quiet.
And there, sat perched upon his rock, was a purple dragon named Peter. There was a glum expression on his face, and he sighed heavily. Peter looked as fed-up as a dragon could be.
Mrs Gilollipop, a much older dragon than Peter, could see him looking very sad indeed.
She spread her dragon wings and flew over to see what was making this young dragon look so miserable.
”Why Peter, I could see your sad face all the way over from the other side of the valley. Whatever is the matter with you?”
