Neuf Cegetel, the leading alternative operator in the Enterprise market, has been chosen to provide 9 Ipnet ToIP, its convergent voice and data service, to the French Ministry of Agriculture and the City of Massy. The eight-year contract with the Ministry of Agriculture covers 800 sites, while the three-year contract with the City of Massy covers 34 sites. Launched in April 2007, 9 Ipnet ToIP sends voice and data flows over a single IP network. This innovative service enables companies and public administrations to increase their productivity thanks to the convergence of telephony and IT services, as well as to reduce costs by pooling communications applications on a unified voice-data network.
