The Committee is reporting on the following matters:DecisionC Bylaw 15, Annual FeesC J. Shirley Denison Fund - Confidential1FOR DECISIONBY-LAW 15, ANNUAL FEES Background3. The new Bar Admission Course, which commenced in 2001, will culminate in major call tothe bar ceremonies in September 2002. By-law 15, which regulates the imposition andproration of annual fees on members, is orientated to the timing of the old BAC. The finalold BAC will conclude with major call to the bar ceremonies at the traditional time inFebruary 2002. Amendments to By-law 15 are recommended to accommodate the changesbrought about by the new BAC model. 4. Subsection 11 of By-law 15 currently provides that student members admitted at any timein the first quarter of a year shall pay membership fees for the first calendar year ofadmittance as if they were admitted on March 31, with payment due on April 1.
