Latest updates of European database on wine and viticulture. "E-Bacchus" is a database which,
• consists of the Register of designations of origin and geographical indications protected in the EU in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007,
• lists non-EU countries' geographical indications and names of origin protected in the EU in accordance with bilateral agreements on trade in wine concluded between the EU and the non-EU countries' concerned,
• lists the traditional terms protected in the EU in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007.
La base de données «E-Bacchus»:
• consiste en un registre des appellations d'origine et des indications géographiques protégées dans l'Union européenne en vertu du règlement (CE) n° 1234/2007 du Conseil;
• comporte la liste des indications géographiques et appellations d'origine de pays tiers protégées dans l'Union européenne en application d'accords bilatéraux sur le commerce des vins conclus entre celle-ci et les pays tiers concernés;
• répertorie les mentions traditionnelles protégées dans l'Union européenne en vertu du règlement (CE) n° 1234/2007 du Conseil.
