Conditions and requirements for increasing tuition and additional fees: U Requests must be filled electronically.Request must be submitted in two copies – electronic and hard copy .Requests must be submitted to the Private Schools Office of the Education Institute.Schools intending to increase their tuitions and other fees must provide detailed justifications and reasons for the increase, supported by the relevant documents.Any request that does not meet the conditions and requirements, or does not provide the justifications or documents will be excluded.Provide the Private Schools Office of the Education Institute with a list detailing all tuitions and additional fees the school has been charging in the past three years, and the proposed fees for the coming academic year as indicated in the fees increase form.Private schools and kindergarten which didn’t increase their tuition fees or extra –curricular fees for the past three academic years are able to apply for fees increase ,with no need to include or attaché documents that support or justify their request in case it has not exceeded 5% only . In case the percentage exceeds the applicant must provide all the evidence and necessary documents, this in all circumstances requires the approval of the Supreme Council after submitting the application.
Attach a copy of school fee increase for the past three years .
Please note that the application for approval to increase tuition fees or additional fees does not mean that you are allowed to increase before obtaining the approval of the supreme education council in writing ., whatever the type of the requested increase or the percentage specified in the request .The approval is given according to certain standards and requirements, and any increase in fees will not be valid and have no value if the application didn’t adopt the supreme educationrequirements .

Any request for fees increase does not necessary mean accepting any increase until receiving the SEC
approval formally regardless to any required percentage. The approval is condition to specific required
standards. Any increase will not be approved without the SEC formal written approval.
Incomplete application will be excluded.
Application submitted after the given due date will be excluded .
Application submitted in English only will be excluded.
The last date for receipt of applications is Thursday , January 12, 2012.

The new fees will not be effective unless approved by the SEC.” ∗This requires all private schools to refer to the SEC in any proposal to increase the fees and obtain its prior approval for the new fees to be effective. ∗Anybreach to this law is considered invalidation to the license given to the school and a breach to the law. The SEC has the right to take all legal and administrative measures against the school which breaches the law.∗The new fees will not be effective unless approved by the SEC. ∗In pursuance ofthe Emir Decree no. (14) for the year 2009 on regulating theSupreme Education Council , Decree no. (7) for the year 1980 on regulating private schools and Ministerial Decision no.
