CADRE ET OBJECTIFS DU SUJET : Context. The thesis will be developed in the context of a new collaboration between the IFP, particularly within the research group on engine controls of the IFP, and the NeCS (Networked Controlled Systems) team-project. IFP is a scientific research, industrial development, training, and information service institution active in the fields of oil and natural gas, their use, in particular by vehicles, and new energy and environment technologies. It is based in Rueil-Malmaison (West Paris), France. The engine control group currently hosts 10 permanent researchers and 7 research associates. NeCS is a joint CNRS (GIPSA-lab)-INRIA team.
