Our Opinion:Every once in a great while, you come across a home that has been so artfully and painstakingly crafted, it’s as if you’ve unearthed a fine diamond. You see, the home was designed by local jeweler and owner of Masseys Jewelers, and the space was specifically designed with jewels in mind. The cuts of the skylights illuminate the sun’s rotation around it allday long, and the whole house has been strategically and symmetrically laid out. This multifaceted space has myriad unique qualities, but perhaps the most eye-catching is the interior flora (those palms–originally from the Aladdin Casino in Las Vegas–were specially preserved, imported, and planted inside). The marble tile throughout the main level, straight from mother Italia, was hand-selected and imported, as well. The indoor pool room hosts a wall of windows that opens completely, connecting indoor and outdoor space, and creating one fabulously-oversized entertaining area. The top floor is entirely reserved for the main suite–spiral staircase through palms fronds, stunning fireplace, droolworthy ensuite bath, walk-out deck (with hot tub), and all. The kitchen (completely custom andcompletelygorgeous) is sporting updates all over the place, and the valley views in every direction are sure to inspire. The theater room has been fully wired for the most amazing at-home movie-going experience ever, and the separate bar will ensure you and your guests will never want for refreshments. In true jewel form, this space is eye-catching, intricate, and completely one-of-a-kind. Throw in those views, and the simple fact that this home is nestled against the mountain and less than 15 minutes from a day of skiing/snowboarding? Well, we’re completely dazzled.
