INPS Chooses MobileIron to Secure and Manage BYOD Programme PR Newswire MOUNTAIN VIEW, California, Aug. 7, 2012 - Clinical Software Solutions Company Deploys MDM to Support True Multi-OS Mobile Environment MOUNTAIN VIEW, California, Aug. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In Practice Systems (INPS), a supplier of clinical software solutions, has implemented the MobileIron platform to support a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programme, provide visibility and control of its fleet of corporate devices, and ultimately provide a foundation for the secure use of mobile applications. MobileIron provides security and management for mobile apps, content, and devices. In a bid to move beyond the traditional corporate-owned BlackBerry, INPS wanted to offer its workforce a way of using their personal devices for work, whether it be iOS, BlackBerry, Android or Windows Phone. Angelo Chrysanthou, Head of Information Systems, at INPS explains, "We're a company that seeks to let staff work the way they want to work. It's hard to say 'no' to employees asking to use their own devices - especially if that employee happens to be an executive. From an IT perspective, I've learned over the years that if I don't provide a solution, that employee will find their own way onto the network. MobileIron offered us a way around this." INPS began searching for a reliable MDM platform that would enable it to manage both corporate and personal devices.
