THE HISTORY FILE
NEW WORDS
TO THE READER
Justice, My Lord! is about Magna Carta (the Great Charter), one of the most important documents ever produced. It explains, in the form of an exciting story, how and why it was written. All the main facts in the story are true, and the de Mowbrays, King John and Bishop Hugh really existed. I have made up a few details in order to bring to life to one of the most dramatic episodes in our history.
